An original poem by me: inspired by God's magnificence, beautiful plan of salvation, and wonderous creation.

The Magnificence of the Non-Coincidence

Is all of humanity's existence simply one big coincidence?

Or is there someone above, someone holy, someone infinite?

You demand “this is utter nonsense due to a lack of evidence”,

But I insist that you are only being blinded by your own ignorance.

If you simply gaze at the wonders of creation you’ll see the significance

And then maybe you’ll realize the most obvious proof is this; your existence.

Romans 1:19 states “For what can be known about God is made plain to them,”

“Why?” You ask defensively, “because God has shown it to them” hallelujah, praise Him.

“Well if this God is so holy and obvious, then why is there no evidence of His magnificence?”

Look at the stars in their vast number, the earth in its perfect placement, were they an accident?

You don’t seek an answer, for your hardened heart is the hindrance to His infinite magnificence.

Ponder the universe, so vast we cannot begin to fathom its size, does it hold any significance?

How about the fact that this creator created it all Ex Nihilo, how’s that for magnificence?

“If this God can speak the entire universe into existence, then why do I only see His absence?”

“Why can’t he stop all the murder, thievery, and rape? Why does he just stand by, in silence?”

You want God to end evil? “YES!” you shout, but have you even considered the consequence?

God is just, immutable, perfect, righteous, omnipotent and always consistent.

So in order to end evil, God would have to destroy it all; including humanity's existence.

“That makes sense, but how could God love me? I never go to church or pray.”

God desires a personal relationship with you in spite of what you’ve done, that’s His unconditional love.

Your good works mean nothing to Him because you cannot earn salvation. Jesus is the only way.

You see, God loved us so much, He humbled himself to a man and descended from above

He lived the life we could never live, and died for the world to remove sin’s consequence.

“So the world has been saved because of the sacrifice Jesus made in that tremendous instance?”

Not quite. The whole world CAN be saved, if they would take the free gift of Christ’s innocence.

If you give your life to Christ, God no longer see’s your sin, you no longer face the consequence.

“Okay, but why did this happen if God is omniscient? Was the fall of man an accident?”

Are you suggesting that God called an audible? You think this plan of salvation is a coincidence?

To think that the Creator did not know His creation is ridiculous, in fact it is utter nonsense!

That is the beauty of it. We sinned against a perfect God, yet He still desires our existence!

He is always good, perfect, loving, merciful, omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent; He's infinite!

We are always searching to be satisfied, and we always want more. Do you see the significance?

We were created for God: for His glory, to sing His praise, and to make known His existence.

We as humans are infinitely empty without His grace, love, mercy, and forgiveness.

His glory is our purpose, this is the magnificence of the non-coincidence.
